Tyrannosaurus Rex Tooth
- Tyrannosaurus Rex Tooth
- Hell Creek Formation, ~68-66 million years old – Carter County, Montana, USA
- 1.61 inches long (4.09cm)
This is a really interesting T-Rex tooth with some character. The tooth was broken during life (spalling), as well as post-recent exposure, but has been repaired. The enamel that is still on the tooth is in good shape and is a beautiful deep black color. There are some serrations visible on one side.
This is a great chance to own a T.rex tooth for a low price. The final photo shows what part of the tooth is missing in the cross-hatched area.
This tooth is 100% original with no filling. The tooth was discovered in several pieces, but has been put back together and glued.
Tyrannosaurus rex teeth of the Hell Creek Formation are easily identified due to the fact that T. rex is the only large tyrannosaur that occurs in the formation from that age.
