This tooth is in near pristine condition and essentially complete down to where the root starts. At 1.63 inches long it would have come from a juvenile T-rex. The serrations are complete on both sides and very well displayed, the enamel is in great shape and displays awesome coloration, there is a slight amount of the characteristic feeding wear on the tip.
This tooth is 100% original with no restoration, repair or filling, which is very rare for nice rex teeth! It has been stabilized at the root base of the tooth. The difference in color between pictures is a result of the different photo locations and camera lighting.
Due to the value of this fossil, it will be shipped via UPS with extra loss protection costs, which will increase shipping to approximately $80.
Tyrannosaurus rex teeth of the Hell Creek Formation are easily identified due to the fact that T. rex is the only large tyrannosaur that occurs in the formation from that age.
