Triceratops tooth with partial root

Out of stock

  • Triceratops Tooth with partial root
  • Hell Creek Formation, ~68-65 million years old – Carter County, Montana, USA
  • .88″ L (2.2cm) x .5″ W

This large tooth has beautiful white and blue coloration.  It is flat on the feeding wear surface.  It would have come from an adult Triceratops.

This tooth is 100% original with no restoration/filling.

This is what would be considered a “spitter tooth”.  This means that after being worn down over time through the process of grinding down vegetative material, it eventually falls out of the dinosaur’s mouth.
