- Tyrannosaurus Rex Tooth – Juvenile
- Hell Creek Formation, ~68-66 million years old – Carter County, Montana, USA
- 1.14 inches long
This is a nice little Rex tooth in phenomenal condition, down to the root, it’s only missing a small patch of enamel near the tip on one side. At 1.14 inches long it would have come from a relatively small juvenile T-rex. The enamel is in really nice shape, very shiny and is a beautiful greenish brown color. Amazing little serrations on both the distal and proximal edges along the whole length of the tooth.
This tooth is 100% original with no restoration, repair or filling.
Tyrannosaurus rex teeth of the Hell Creek Formation are easily identified due to the fact that T. rex is the only large tyrannosaur that occurs in the formation from that age. For more information about T. Rex check out this link: T. Rex
