Many public research institutions and professional research paleontologists choose not to interact with fossils originating on private land. Though this may be the case, we at Dino Etc LLC would still love to contribute to current or future research efforts when it comes to the field of paleontology.
All available relevant sedimentological and location data will be sent along with the purchased fossil(s). Note that all fossils sold on this website were collected from private property, thus there is no implied or guaranteed access to the origination locations. Also note that specific location information may be generalized based on land owner privacy requests.
So, if you are a curator or manager with a museum; or a researcher affiliated with the paleontological program at a university or Museum and are interested in any of our products then:
We offer a discount of 10%, as well as granting the ability to put a hold on any of our fossils* for up to 90 days while you secure funding to purchase the fossil(s) of interest
To receive this discount or request a hold please submit an email from your organization’s email account with the following information**:

-The organization you are affiliated with
-The SKU # of the fossil(s) you are interested in purchasing
