- Triceratops Tooth
- Hell Creek Formation, ~68-65 million years old – Carter County, Montana, USA
- .5″ L (1.27cm) x .5″ W
This tooth has beautiful dark blue coloration. It is slightly worn with a flat feeding wear surface. It would have come from a large juvenile Triceratops.
This tooth is 100% original with no restoration/filling.
This is what would be considered a “spitter tooth”. This means that after being worn down over time through the process of grinding down vegetative material, it eventually falls out of the dinosaur’s mouth.
